Every year, in the month of July, artists from all over the world take over the streets of the famous City of the Popes.

A true open-air stage, for more than two weeks the Avignon Festival immerses the city in the rhythm of the performing arts: live art shows, exhibitions, and even film screenings.

The traditional Lavender Festival takes place on the Valensole Plateau each year at the end of July, the harvest season.
